The "Mitōshie Sounding Lidar Function" is software that supports the navigation of observation vessels while simultaneously collecting and 3D mapping data from underwater and land areas on board the ship. It enables seamless (continuous) understanding of terrain from the sea to the land and real-time verification of the shapes of coastal structures while conducting surveys, making it useful for port and river investigations.
